Admin: Company Codes

Manage the dropdown options your team sees on the Floorboard.

Company Codes is where you manage the dropdown options your team picks from, like Advertising Source, No Sale Reason, and User Status. Each list is optional, so you only need to set up the ones your company uses.

Open Company Codes

There are two ways to get here:

  • Go to Admin > Site Admin > Company Code, then pick a list from the dropdown at the top.
  • Go to Admin > Company Settings > Floorboard Setup, then click a card under Code Maintenance. This opens that list.

Add or edit an option

To add an option:

  1. Pick the list from the dropdown at the top.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Enter a Description. This is what your team sees.
  4. Fill in any other fields for that list (see below).
  5. Click Create to save.

To edit an option, click the Edit icon in its row, make your changes, and click Apply Changes.

Every list has these fields:

Field What it does
Description The option name your team sees
Sort Order Where the option shows in the dropdown
Active Whether the option is available to pick

Reorder or turn off options

Reorder: drag a row by the dots on the left to move it. The Sort Order updates for you. You can also change the Sort Order number on the edit page.

Turn off: to stop using an option, edit it and turn off Active. It won’t show on forms anymore, but past entries still show in reports.

💡 Tip: Turning off an option is a good way to clean up a list without losing your history.

Extra options by list

Some lists have extra fields.

No Sale Reason and Photo Exclude Reason

Field What it does
Comment Required The salesperson has to enter a comment when they pick this option

💡 Tip: This works even if comments aren’t required company-wide. For example, you can require a comment only when “Other” is picked.

Potential Sale Option

Field What it does
Enable For Which forms show this option: Potential Sale, Sale, or Both
Schedule Time Yes: the salesperson has to pick a follow-up date and time

💡 Tip: If Require Scheduled Action for Sale is on in Company Settings, set up a few options for Sale (or Both) so salespeople have something to pick.

User Status

Field What it does
Colour The color shown next to the salesperson on the Upboard
Available Whether the salesperson stays in the rotation with this status

User Status options can also be deleted with the Delete icon in the row.

📝 Note: To control where a salesperson lands in the rotation after a status change, see User Rotation.
