Goal What it’s for
Average Sale Goal Your target average sale amount
Revenue Per Opportunity Goal Your target revenue per opportunity (RPO)
Conversion Rate Goal % Your target conversion rate

Application Settings

Application Settings is a long list of on/off settings and dropdowns. They’re grouped below by what they affect.

💡 Tip: Settings that end in “Default” only set the starting state each day. Your team can still change them on the Floorboard.

Floorboard

Setting What it does
Open Floor Default On: new photos come in unassigned. Off: new photos are assigned to the next available salesperson.
Quick Entry Default Whether Quick Entry starts on
Exclude Hidden Is Default Whether excluded photos start hidden on the Floorboard. Hidden photos still count.
Photo Sort Order Descending (default) shows the newest photos at the top. Ascending shows the oldest at the top.
Show Photo on First Click On: clicking a photo opens it enlarged. Off: clicking goes straight to the forms.
Use Special Color for Be-Back On: a salesperson working with a be-back shows brown. Off: they show the normal yellow.
View Traffic Cop Shows the Traffic Cop dropdown on the Floorboard, so everyone can see who’s running the rotation. Only users with Traffic Cop turned on show in the list.
Allow Sales People to View Upboard Statistics Off hides the Upboard stats from salespeople
Enable Audio Alert Plays a sound when a new unassigned photo comes in. It plays for everyone on that store’s Floorboard.
Select Media File The alert sound (Sound1 to Sound4)
Update Pending Items Before Logging Out Salespeople can’t log out until they finish any pending quick entry items (see below)
Process Sale File at End of the Day Turns on the end-of-day sales file upload from the Floorboard (for API + Manual accounts)

📝 Note: When a salesperson uses a quick entry button (like a quick Exclude), the photo goes to a pending state. To finish it, they click the photo again, fill out the form (like the reason for the exclude), and submit.

Rotation and Photos

Setting What it does
Use Static Rotation Off (default): after a customer, salespeople rejoin the rotation in the order they finish. On: salespeople keep the same order all day, based on the order they logged in. Managers and traffic cops can still change the order.
Auto Reassign On: a rejected photo goes straight to the next salesperson. Off: it stays unassigned.
Add Sales Person from Other Department For stores with departments. Lets you add salespeople from another department to a rotation.
Allow Viewing of Other Salesperson’s Photos On (default): everyone sees all photos. Off: only the assigned salesperson sees the photo, but everyone still sees the counts on the Upboard.
Automatically Count Auto-Excluded Photos in Trakwell Auto-excluded photos are excluded by the system and marked with a yellow X. On: they’re counted. Off: they’re not.

📝 Note: If a salesperson excludes a photo, they go back to the same spot they had in the rotation.

Include Potential Sales in No Sale Stage Chart Adds the No Sale Stage field to the Potential Sale form, so those answers show in Analytics

📝 Note: Credits, adjustments, and returns are the Cr/Adj/Ret entries on the Floorboard.

Send Email from Company Domain Salespeople whose email domain is listed send customer emails from their own address. Each domain has to be set up first.
Company Email Domains The domains used for the setting above, like yourcompany.com. Replies to these domains still come in, even when sending is turned off.

📝 Note: To set up a company email domain, contact our support team.

Validation

Setting What it does

Probability Required Makes the probability field required
Comment Required Separate settings for Potential Sale, Sale, No Sale, and Exclude
Require Scheduled Action for Potential Sale / Sale Requires a follow-up (action, date, and time) on that form

💡 Tip: If validation slows your team down, you can turn it off.

Quick Entry

Quick Entry adds buttons to assigned photos on the Floorboard, so salespeople can act fast without filling anything in. They can finish the details later.

Turn on the buttons you want: Quick Sale, Quick No Sale, Quick Potential Sale, Quick Exclude, Quick In Process, and Quick Reassign.

Turning a button on here turns it on for every store. If it’s off here, you can still turn it on for a single store.

Hierarchy Setup

Hierarchy Setup sets how many levels sit above your stores, and what each level is called (like Region or Company). These names show in the location list in Analytics.

⚠️ Caution: Changing the hierarchy can affect how your stores are grouped. Contact our support team before making changes.

Floorboard Setup

Floorboard Setup controls your dropdown lists, rotation rules, and date calendar.

Code Maintenance

Each card (like Advertising Source, No Sale Reason, or User Status) opens that dropdown list so you can add or edit options.

👉 Admin: Company Codes (#)

Rotation Options

Rotation Options are rules for where a salesperson lands in the rotation when a photo changes status.

Field What it means
Prior Status / New Status The photo status change the rule applies to, like Any to Sale
Prior Rotation Option / New Rotation Option Where the salesperson moves: Same, Top, Bottom, 2nd through 9th, or Don’t Bump #1
Sort Order If two rules match, the lower number wins

Each rule needs at least one status and a New Rotation Option. Click Add Rule to add one, then click Save Rotation Options.

If there’s no company rule for a change, the System defaults table is used. For example, after a Sale, No Sale, or Potential Sale, the salesperson goes to the bottom.

📝 Note: “Hidden” in these lists means Exclude.

⚠️ Caution: Rotation rules change how customers get assigned. Test changes with your team first, and contact our support team if you need help.

User Rotation

User Rotation sets where a salesperson lands when they change their own status. For example, a rule might move them from Lunch to Available for Upboard.

Field What it means
Prior Status / New Status The salesperson’s status change. Custom statuses like Lunch come from the User Status list.
Available Whether they’re back in the rotation
Active Turns the rule on or off
Rotation Where they land: 2nd through 9th, Bottom, or Don’t Bump #1
Sort Order If two rules match, the lower number wins

📝 Note: Don’t Bump #1 puts the salesperson in 2nd place. If no one else is in the rotation, they go to the top.

Daily Date Calendar

The Daily Date Calendar pairs each date with a date from last year. Daily Goaling uses these pairs to compare this year to last year.

  1. Enter each pair as YYYY-MM-DD,YYYY-MM-DD (current date, then last year’s date).
  2. Click Upload Text to add what you typed, or Upload File to add a file.

📝 Note: When you upload a file, the first two rows are skipped as headers.
