General

Setting What it does
Name The store’s system name, used to connect its cameras
Description The store name shown in the app and in reports
Client Name The store number. If you have a POS integration, this has to match the store number in your POS.
Time Zone The store’s time zone
Door Count How many doors (cameras) the store has
Virtual Store For stores without a physical door, like website or phone leads

⚠️ Caution: Don’t change the Name. It connects the store to its cameras, and changing it can stop photos from coming in. If it needs to change, contact our support team.

📝 Note: A store with more than one door can send all its cameras to the same Floorboard. If your store has departments, cameras can be sent to different departments, each with its own rotation.

Address

The store’s phone numbers, email, and address. These are used in emails sent from Trakwell to customers.

Quick Entry

Turns on quick entry buttons for this store only: Quick Sale, Quick No Sale, Quick Potential, Quick Exclude, Quick In Process, and Quick Reassign.

📝 Note: If a button is turned on in Company Settings, it’s on for every store.

Store Hours

Store hours tell Trakwell when each store is open. Photos that come in outside store hours are excluded automatically as After Hours and don’t count toward your traffic.

The Store Hours page has two tabs:

Tab What it’s for
Company Hours Default hours and holidays for every store
Stores Each store’s hours, and changes for a single store

💡 Tip: Set your company hours first. Then change hours only for the stores that are different.

Set company hours

Company hours apply to every store unless a store has its own hours.

Field What it does
Working Hours Your normal open and close times
Holiday Hours Open and close times for Working Holiday dates
Weekly Hours Hours for a specific day, if it’s different from Working Hours. Leave a day blank to use Working Hours.

For example, if you’re open 10:00 to 20:00 every day but open at 12:00 on Sundays, enter 10:00 and 20:00 for Working Hours. Then enter 12:00 in Sunday’s From and leave Sunday’s To blank.

To set company hours:

  1. Go to the Company Hours tab.
  2. Enter your Working Hours and Holiday Hours.
  3. Fill in any Weekly Hours that are different.
  4. Click Apply Changes.

📝 Note: Saving copies the weekly hours to every store set to follow company hours. Working Hours and Holiday Hours aren’t copied.

Company holidays

  1. Pick a date.
  2. Pick a flag:
    • Non Working: the store is closed all day.
    • Working Holiday: the store is open and uses Holiday Hours.
  3. Click Add Holiday.

Adding a company holiday adds that date to every store. To remove holidays, select them and click Delete Selected.

Set hours for one store

The Stores tab lists each store’s normal and holiday open and close times, and whether it follows company hours. Values in amber are different from the company defaults.

To change one store’s hours:

  1. Click the Edit icon on the store.
  2. Change only what’s different. For example, a later opening time on Sunday.
  3. Click Save Hours.

Follow Company Hours

Setting What it means
Independent (default) The store keeps its own hours. If they haven’t been changed, it still uses company hours.
Follows Company The store’s weekly hours are replaced with company hours every time company hours are saved

Store holidays

You can also add holidays for just one store. Pick a date and a flag, then click Add Holiday. Store holidays save as soon as you add, edit, or remove them.
